2019 Zinfandel

Due to cooler than normal summer and fall weather, the 2019 harvest came on Oct. 18 much later than usual but with the added hang time the resulting fruit demonstrates premium quality. We sourced the grapes from the Gemeny Vineyard in Paso Robles El Pomar A.V.A., noted for the superior Zinfandel this terroir produces. Our Zinfandel exhibits the classic characteristics we’ve come to know and enjoy from this noble grape—concentrated, rich, mouth-watering dark fruit flavors—coupled with spicy notes combining for a complexity that greets the palate, and ends with a delightful long finish. Layers continue to unfold with each subsequent sip. Enjoy now with red tomato pasta dishes, lamb and strong red meats and cheeses or cellar for some years to come.

2018 Pinot Noir
Santa Rita Hills

We are proud to offer our inaugural Pinot Noir, sourced from the heart of California's prime Pinot growing region, the Santa Rita Hills.  It has been produced from organically grown, impeccably tended fruit grown at the esteemed Spear Vineyard.  This elegant wine exhibits radiant magenta color, a floral bouquet and the earthiness of a classic Pinot Noir.  Robust flavors of ripe red cherry and rhubarb are laced with notes of truffle and black olive.  Balanced acidity and tannins lend themselves to the complexity of this wine and provide structure which will support cellaring for years to come.

2016 Cabernet Sauvignon
Reserve

Still in our initial decade of commercial winemaking, we have achieved an exceptional vintage worthy of our first 'Reserve' label.  The 2016 growing season produced excellent fruit which we pampered throughout the winemaking process then aged in new French oak barrels for two years.  The grapes are pure Paso Robles, from Bella Collina vineyard in the Adelaida AVA and Lupo vineyard in the El Pomar AVA (the latter under our management for the past half-decade).  This luscious wine rewards its owner with an uncommon flavor experience which will continue to evolve richly for many years to come.
