2015 Cabernet Sauvignon
This 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced from the Adelaida and El Pomar AVAs of Paso Robles. We oversee management of the El Pomar vineyard which we've been nurturing for a few years now. While fruit yield was low due to the drought we've lived through, the clusters that did grow showed excellent quality. We barrel aged this wine for nearly two years in 50% new French oak. It shows an array of varietal flavors including dense dark fruit, blackberry, cassis, currants, vanilla and toast.

Our 2015 Zinfandel derives from Mitch Culver's Bella Vineyard located in the Willow Creek AVA in Paso Robles. We harvested in late September, cold soaked and fermented prior to barreling, and aged the wine for 22 months in a mix of French and American oak barrels before bottling. The resulting product is rich, ripe, and complex with notes of vibrant berry, black cherry, white pepper, and spice. With excellent acid balance and tannin structure, we hope you'll find this wine very pleasing and a complement to your family dinner.

2014 Cabernet Sauvignon
The 2014 growing season was near picture perfect and one of the best years in the past decade. The resulting wine is an expression of the quality grape clusters nature provided. Aged in French oak barrels for nearly two full years, this wine is full bodied with layers of classical cabernet sauvignon flavors marrying its acids and tannins in a welcoming, smooth, harmonious balance. The resulting mouthfeel is lush and carries through to a full finish. It will drink nicely now while having the ability to age in your cellar for many years to come.

Following an exceptional growing season, this Syrah was aged for close to 2 years in French and American oak barrels. It now exhibits a rich character with subtle flavors of blackberry, plum, black cherry, spice, chocolate and toasted oak. It is drinking nicely now and we expect it to continue evolving for years to come.

The potent flavors of this wine never cease to impress us. This year's offering exhibits layered notes of berries, plum, and currants which are subtly accentuated by licorice, leather and tobacco. The tannins will mellow over time, improving the wine and ensuring its stability across the years.

2013 Cabernet Sauvignon
Crafted from beautiful Starr Ranch grapes and aged 21 months in French & American oak, this full bodied wine has a lush mouthfeel and a rich finish touched with toast and vanilla. Balanced acids & tannins provide structure for flavors of dark fruits, dried currants and mocha. We expect this wine to improve over the next several years.

We are pleased to report on our inaugural release of 2012 Zinfandel. The flavors are fully developed and the wine is drinking well already. It displays the classic Paso Robles Zin characteristics of black cherry, spice and white peppercorn which are overlaid on a full, fruit-forward body with tempered acidity.

We have also released the 2012 vintage of The Vixen Nebbiolo. The deep color and fragrant nose on this wine are apt precursors to the delicious sip to follow. As we have come to expect from this fruit, the wine is strong and full-bodied, with notes of dark fruits and hints of tobacco. While drinking nicely now, it will continue to evolve over the next five years or more.
